Ahead of Father's Day, we invite you to join DAY1DADS in celebrating dads, father figures, and connection, while reminding ourselves of the importance of mental health conversations. Join us June 10 to 19 at the community space on Level 2 of the CORE Shopping Centre, daily from 11:00 a.m. – 3:30 p.m., for a space where people can gather with purpose – sharing stories, sparking conversations, and showing up for one another.

Joining DAY1DADS is Calgary Surge, Calgary’s professional basketball team and a community-driven organization that focuses heavily on culture, inclusivity, and impact beyond the game itself.

As part of the celebration, Amborella Floral will be on-site with a pop-up flower shop — because every dad deserves his flowers!

Stop by the community space on Level 2, across from Purdy's, to connect with people who believe that showing up for one another matters – especially on the days that call for it most.

DAY1DADS Care Cards will be available during the event.

The Care Card is a discreet QR-based access tool that connects individuals to over $2,000 in paid, discounted, and subsidized mental health resources from existing organizations. It does not provide services directly but makes access easier and more visible. Pick one up for yourself or someone who may need it.
